Kendall is a Pittsburgh Poet and 10th grade English teacher. She serves as a board member for Write Pittsburgh, a coalition to help further Pittsburgh's writers' place within the city. Awarded the 2024 fall writer-in-residence for City Books, she worked on her first chapbook A Teacher Writes About A School Shooting That Has Not Happened Yet. She performs live with the Pittsburgh Poetry Collective and Steel City Slam. This past summer she also took on being reader for the nationally recognized sci-fi contest, Parsec.
